Public viewing

The EFC Bembel Beduinen have been part of a very historical football event! The first time in the history at all the original Bundesliga Championship Trophy left Germany – nomen est omen – on December 13th, 2015 and came to us in Dubai, to us! This is definitely a story we’ll tell it to our grandchildren, “grandma (and/or) grandpa has been there live to see it!!!”
The German football champion get the so called “Schale” (bowl) for their performance, for one year. His name will be engraved in it forever. Just for the facts, the first champion in 1959 was our team Eintracht Frankfurt!
It was amazing we could inspect the “Schale” at close range and take pictures with it. We’ve to say, to be so close to the trophy makes you feel privileged and the very special atmosphere. It is hard to describe and impossible to forget.
We had on the same day a public viewing, watched the game Borussia Dortmund vs. Eintracht Frankfurt. Briefly, we’ve forgotten the scoring but can remember the Dortmund fans celebrated their victory and not teased us. Fair enough and it’s also a beginning of a nice football fan friendship between us and the Dortmund fans.
The evening was superb! Roughly eight different kinds of Bundesliga fans came to enjoy the live broadcasting. At this evening we had a party truce,  look at the pictures.
We’ve been also very happy, because lot of Bedu’s joined the event. One of our honorary members H.E. Yibeltal Aemero Alemu, Counsel General of the Democratic Federal Republic of Ethiopia, insisted to watch his team’s match.
The evening was so terrific that we’re working already on the next common public viewing. It was a fantastic evidence we as Bundesliga fans have built a nice big family in the UAE.
