Frankfurt and Dubai

Very much to our delight since 14. Juni 2005  Frankfurt and Dubai are partner cities.
Between March 7-10. 2014 Frankfurt’s Lord Mayor Peter Feldmann visited Dubai for his first time. He met among others S.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoom, Finance Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Chairman of the City Dubai. He also met the head of the administration of the city Dubai, Hussain Nasser Lootah, and inaugurated with him the sculpture, quotations from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s “West-östlichem Diwan” (West-eastern Divan) in the Zabeel Friendship Park.
Our Lord Mayor was accompanied by Stephan Siegler, Chairman of the Frankfurt Parliament, Lutz Raettig, among other the Deputy President IHK; Thomas Feda, Managing Director Tourismus und Congress GmbH; Harald Fiedler, Chairman DGB ; Wolfgang Marzin, CEO Messe Frankfurt; Eric Menges, FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH; Johannes Möller, Messe Frankfurt and Anja Obermann, Managing Director Wirtschaftsförderung.
It was a big honor to the EFC Bembel Beduinen we might join the visit from our hometown in the town of our new home.
