The world’s best coffee is coming undoubtedly from Ethiopia. This commodity is also the number one export good of the country. Therefore it is not surprising that the country’s coffee exporters running a team named Ethiopian Coffee F.C., which one is member of the Ethiopian Football Federation Premier League. Their home stadium is the Addis Ababa Stadium in the capital of the country.
On February 23rd, 2016 we spent a wonderful evening with Mr. Minilik Habtu and his friend Bisrat Ermias. Both gentlemen are important decision makers in the Ethiopian coffee industry. Mr. Minilik Habtu is also member of the board by the Ethiopian Coffee F.C. By real Ethiopian coffee we had got a long long thrilling discussion about football generally, about football in Africa and Europe and certainly about our Eintracht Frankfurt. We have been very much impressed the SGE is known by them.
We became big football friends and agreed to bring the Ethiopian Coffee F.C. to Germany, certainly accompanied with the world’s best coffee! And we will bring our Eagles to Africa as well, to present them to the football enthusiastic millions there.
Just for the future after the big business deals we’ll drink original Ethiopian coffee and while we enjoy football together! And of course “Nur die SGE” will be cheered massive and really loud in Ethiopia as well!!!
